DESCRIPTION

The John John Florence Techflex thruster is John's daily driver and the fin that he rode exclusively to 3 World Championships. John’s approach in both waves of consequence and high-performance competition show the versatility of the Techflex construction. Stable and predictable at high speeds, as well as springy and responsive in more playful conditions.

The Pro size splits the difference between the medium and large fins. John runs the Pro size fins in his 6'1" and 6'2" Pyzel Ghost models when the surf improves, head-high to double overhead. The slight reduction in size from the large fin allows for increased control and release during powerful turns, letting him push as hard as he wants when the waves are good.

Best size

I used to bounce between the large and medium, but this in-between size is the perfect. Please make more Medium/Large fins.

More ML fins please

For us 170lb people, the ML size is awesome. The fin is almost the same template as the old Mayhem fins. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the leading edges of all 3 of the fins were kind of rough and seemed unfinished. Maybe it’s from the paint job but definitely noticeable. Not a big deal in small waves but if going 30mph they’re going to hum.
