DESCRIPTION

The John John Florence Signature Scimitar thruster in Vapor Core construction is designed for performance surfing in small waves. John rides this fin when he needs to generate speed when the waves are small and lack power. These fins feature a full Vector foil, helping enhance lift and generate speed. The Scimitar Tip is represented by the cut-off portion of the fin, tailoring the grip characteristics. Vapor Core is the lightest performance fin construction ever, consisting of a hollow core. Every single fin is handmade from start to finish at our HQ in Huntington Beach, CA, using aerospace grade materials.

loose and fast

loose and fast. Best groveling setup I’ve ever had. Usually use large al merricks and this is looser and quicker. Future needs to make this setup in a quad option! Can’t wait to try them in decent surf.

Broke after five sessions

Loved these fins when I first got them. Super fast and held speed through turns. Probably got five sessions and then had a Crack in the base of one fin. There super light fins which vapor core came in at but also low strength. Its a hollow fin and to my experience very low strength. Ill take a fin box blown out than a broken fin which means buying a whole new set.
