2-Pass Fin Box Installation Kit

Ibought the 2 pass installation kit for wood board projects and am less than pleased with the kit. I have been using the one pass with all foam projects and am very happy. To start, the “ring” needed to be sanded out to allow the router base to fit. Second, the “ring” had a protruding nipple (from injection molding) that needed to be sanded off. Third, the aluminum base jig is not milled in a continuous oval, it has little “notches” in the oval which constantly hangs up the ring when routing both flange cuts and slot cuts. It seems to me that this kit had no quality control. Let me finish by saying, I am a huge fan and supporter of Future Fins and love their products with the exception of this jig
