Rasta’s spiritual connection to the ocean is genuine and felt every time he takes off on a surfboard.

A free surfer in every sense of the word, Rasta’s natural flow and timeless barrel style are nirvana on the eye. But Dave Rastovich is far more than just a great surfer, he’s a friend to the earth; a man who lives and breathes to do his part in protecting our planet.

Rasta’s at the forefront of getting new sensations from more sustainably made equipment. The bohemian paradise of Byron Bay, Australia gives Rasta access to a wide variety of alternative board building techniques. The materials in his quiver range from paulownia alia’s by Tom Wegner, to hemp and kevlar wrapped performance twins by Gary McNeil and retro Bing twins. Rasta will ride anything durable and that is less damaging on the planet.

Having Rasta and his shapers in our corner invigorates us to continue making products that last. As surfers we are the custodians for world’s oceans. Rasta is our daily reminder to do the right thing.
